Presentation
This narrated concert, set beneath the façades of the château, celebrates the “fine minds” of the Renaissance, its poets and women of influence. Fontenay’s most illustrious figures such as François Rabelais, Nicolas Rapin, André Tiraqueau, and François Viète come back to life through the creations of Pierre Debien and the enchanting voice of a singer.
Through music, poetry, and both historical and contemporary works of art, the performance shines a light on the cultural legacy of this remarkable era.
This show is presented as part of the 500th anniversary of the Château d’Azay-le-Rideau.
